May 3rd Vaoncover Marathon

I tried to find a right word for this Marathon. I think Martin already gave me a decent comments on the club reports: a solid marathon race.

One good thing about this race is that I am not scared about hilly race any more. I know the pace will be slow a little bit, but I think I can handle. And I can do better for the San Francisco Race.

One big lesson for this race: I should not skip the water stations even though I did not feel like I need it.  It caused dehydration for me for the last a few times. Though I slowed down, I still tried to avoid cramps, and finish the race successfully.

But I can do better the next time. 1)I should bring salt sticks. It will help avoid the cramps in the last a few miles. I will try it for SF Marathon. 2)Drink water at each water station. 3)Need to train more hill repeats. I know I said that I would run hills every Friday. But I did only once.
