was 1:36:53. 48 seconds slower than my fastest half race.
But I felt very confident after the race. I gained around 10 lbs
recently because of the Chinese New Year. And it did not slow
down much. So I registered another marathon to award myself:
Santa Rosa Marathon in August.
I followed 1:35 pacer for the first a few miles, and I can see him even
around mile 8 or Mile 9. Bud I did not feel like I could catch him.
I slowed down after Mile 10. Normally I would take a Gel around mile
6 or 7. Since I did not feel tired, so I hesitated a little bit and took
it at mile 8. Did not feel good after it, so not sure whether it would be
better if I did not take it.
I did drink some water during most of the station. It was a next to perfect
race. I should run faster next time when I lower my weight to around 170lbs.
