Urban Cow Half Marathon with Pace 7:20 -- PR 1:36:01

The planned pace was 7:15 to 7:19. Normally I would
have a massage before the race, did not do it because Hideshi
went back to Japan.

So even though I did form roller myself, and used massage machine,
I did not do much massage for my legs. Tried to schedule the appointment
with another guy Thursday and Friday, he was too busy. So for the
first a few miles, I started a little bit slow. First, I always think
the pacer was too fast, he had the pace around 7 for the first two
miles. So I just followed him with my slower pace.  Second,
my legs were very heavy for the first 4-5 miles. I thought I could
not do well because of that. I felt better after that. Anyway, It was
a great run.

Started with Michael for the first mile, and I asked him to go ahead
since he is much faster. Saw Mark at the beginning of the race,
and he finished at 1:30. Ran most of the time with Christina
for the first 5 miles. Sometimes she was ahead of me, and sometimes
I passed her. And I fully passed her after mile 5, and she finished
1:39. saw lots of other guys, Beth, Martin, Ben, Clarisa, Tara, Emily, etc.
All did a wonderful job.

My daughter PRed at 2:06 as well. My wife regretted that she did not
run with us, and she will do it next year.
