partner was recovering from the stomach flu. We ran first 5 miles
at the average pace, then the last 5 miles at pace around 8:00.
Ad I had to catch up the rest of the 8 miles for my scheduled
18 miles run.
The only problem was that I did not drink water, ate gel when I
ran the 1st 10 miles. So I took one after the run. It might be a little
bit late since I felt thirsty and not that energetic. The overall pace was
ok:

One good thing is that they think I could target 3:45 for
the first marathon, though I did not feel that confident.
And Clariza gave me the advice to run slowly for the
first 6 miles at pace 9, then progressively run faster,
and have a full-charge run at the last 6 miles. I have to
resist the temptation of running fast for the first a few miles.
